This ship is designed to be the core ship for fleets on very long range missions. It has two core capabilities. Firstly it acts as a base for movement allowing ships to move in the space around it, even if no colony is in range. This means that it is not bound by the usual movement restrictions.

Secondly it is able to create colonies at any star, but unlike other types, it is not itself destroyed when founding a colony. Two units of population are used to construct the ship.
